The Art of Getting Things Done
Having difficulty in getting things done? Do you feel as if no-one is listening to you?
Before exerting any effort as a leader, answer the following three questions of your self:
- Who am I trying to convince?
- What do I want them to do?
- Why do I want them to do it?
Following these guidelines as an approach to “getting things done” will allow you to gain clarity of how you should communicate the task to you want done. Write them down and ask yourself the three questions.
You can use the WHO, WHAT, WHY approach in your personal life also.
It’s a great tip for communicating with teenagers – and spouses also! 🙂
